Now a days almost every designer or developer taking an advantage of open source resources. There are plenty of new things releasing day by day and this is really very surprizing for us, because you no need to put your hard earned money to buy costly apps.
I have a list of some powerful resources that recently launched and very beneficial to web designers and developers. This list includes some of my favorite resources like Video JS, Google Font API, & Nivo Slide (jQuery Plugin) etc.

Video JS
Video JS is a javascript-based video player that uses the HTML5 video functionality built into advanced browsers. In general, the benefit of using an HTML5 player is a consistent look between browsers.

Google Font API
The Google Font Directory lets you browse all the fonts available via the Google Font API. All fonts in the directory are available for use on your website under an open source license and are served by Google servers.

Nivo Slider - The Most Awesome jQuery Image Slider
